Installing an Electric Life EL02-K Street Rod Power Window Kit in a 1955 Chevy 150 Sedan. Page 7 |

Looking through an opening in the top of the door, it is evident that the glass sash has been glued onto the one piece glass. The roller channel at the bottom of this particular sash is bolted to the sash. The roller channel is unbolted from the glass sash and the new channel is marked and cut. We have chosen to leave the old sash on the glass and
remount our new roller channel onto the sash, rather than trying to remove
the old sash from the window. Personally, I'm a chicken when it comes to working
with glass. I'd rather spend twice the time with a welder, if I can avoid
working with the glass.
