Installing an Electric Life EL02-K Street Rod Power Window Kit in a 1955 Chevy 150 Sedan. Page 6 |

Our regulator assembly is held in the approximate position that it will be mounted in. We want the regulator to be mounted as close to the centerline of the window as possible. We also want the regulator to be mounted far enough down in the door so that the motor will end up under the window when the window is rolled down. The regulators come a little on the long side for most vehicles. When we are sure of the length we need, the top 3 or 4 inches is cut off with a hack saw.
