This large opening looks like an excellent place to mount the motor. But before we proceed, we need to hold the door panel up to the door to verify that this spot really is clear. With no obstacles in the way, we can proceed with our installation.
The mounting brackets are fastened to the transmission assembly near the motor. We chose to use 2 brackets to keep the motors from bouncing around too much. Notice that the cables are mounted crossed and not straight. This allows the cable assembly to be bent into an arc or twisted so it can be mounted in varying positions.
